We are committed to delivering exceptional salon and spa services at Salon and Spa Aken. To ensure that our guests have a transparent understanding of our services and how we operate, we have established the following policies. We value your time and appointments with our team of professionals. To ensure that we can accommodate all our guests and run our services smoothly, we have established the following policies.

  • We understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances can arise, but we kindly request that you provide us with a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows our team to adjust their schedules accordingly and provides the opportunity for guests on our waiting list. In the case of last-minute cancellations or no-shows, you will be required to pay in full for all services booked. We do our best to work with you in emergencies.

  • As a courtesy, we’re happy to give you a call upon request. Otherwise, our booking system will automatically send an email and text confirmation 48-24 hours before your appointment. It is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call and double-check your appointments.

  • At Salon Aken, we strive to create a relaxing and enjoyable environment for all our clients. To help us maintain this atmosphere, we kindly ask that you keep your cell phone silent or vibrate while in the salon. If you need to take or make a call, please keep your conversation brief and at a low volume to avoid disturbing other guests. If you wish to enjoy entertainment on your device, please use headphones and keep the volume at a level that does not disturb others.

  • When booking an appointment with us, we require that you provide a credit card to be held on file. Rest assured that all credit card information is encrypted for your protection.

  • We try to accommodate every guest who is running behind schedule, but tardiness can delay our team's day and affect other clients' appointments. We generally allow a 10-minute grace period, after which we will call to check in on you. If you cannot make it in time for the full service, you may have to forego parts of the service to stay within the allotted time. Please call us if you think you might be late.

  • We strive for 100% guest satisfaction with our spa and salon services. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within five days of your appointment to schedule a free-of-charge correction. Issues reported after five days will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

  • All sales are final. We’re happy to exchange a product if it’s not a good fit, but we do not offer refunds.

    We want you to be happy with your hair products, and we will accept returns/exchanges within 14 days of purchase, as long as the product hasn’t been used, and is the remaining original amount, and you have a receipt.

  • Deposits are required for wedding styling and hair extensions. Hair extension deposits are non-refundable.

  • At Salon Aken, you can rest assured that we follow the strictest controls when it comes to booking an appointment as well as submitting a payment method. We regularly audit our security mechanisms to ensure we are always PCI (payment card industry) compliant.

    For your protection, your credit card information is encrypted and kept safe in a 3rd party payment system and none of the staff at Salon Aken are able to view your credit card details.
