  • Had my hair styled by Alana S. She is a phenomenal stylist. She is an expert at holistic hair health. I barely even have to say what I need to get done and she comes with her own ideas. If you’re looking for an awesome stylist, who is extremely knowledgeable especially with cut and color Alana is your girl. Plus she is just a great person. I also love the vibe of salon aken. Beautiful place.

  • Alana is absolutely AMAZING with blonde hair!! Received gorgeous blonde highlights today after she lifted away my brown hair a few months back, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I also asked for some face framing and she absolutely nailed it. AKEN is just incredible in every way, wonderful people and wonderful service. Can’t wait to go back!!!

The salon is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. Vardan did a fantastic job cutting and styling my son's hair, and he is so warm and accommodating, too!
